My first visit to this perfectly positioned gem in a delightful leafy street was a little sentimental to be honest… I had flashbacks to around 18 years before, when I had pulled up in the driveway of our current Greenwood home for the Open, and before I even stepped in the front door I was sold! I’m still not sure if it was all the birds singing, the cool afternoon breeze or all the trees, but I knew I was home!
And I am sure at least a few of you will feel that way here… Welcome to 14 Lambertia Street.
This solid, spacious family abode was built in the 70's but you wouldn’t know as it has been lovingly maintained plus had plenty of improvements along the way including the addition of a spacious games room taking the total size internally to approximately 145m2 and becoming the homes third living space.
The main bedroom has a walk-though robe into the bathroom (which reminds me - as an avid renovator may I suggest future plans include converting the spacious laundry into a second bathroom… just a thought) and the two minor bedrooms have built-in robes.
Both the kitchen and the bathroom have been updated previously and are clean and functional, with plenty more years left in them and in fact the 4 burner hotplate is a BRAND NEW (never used) addition to the kitchen!
Beautiful jarrah floors have been added to most of the home, throughout the main living spaces and the bedrooms.
There have been two split-system reverse-cycle air conditioners installed in the last couple of years – one in the games room and one in the main bedroom, and between them and the afternoon sea breeze that comes in the front door, the house is delightfully comfortable.
And speaking of the front door (also newish)… I think my favourite place at “wine-o’clock” would be the front porch (potentially a 4th living space), enjoying the gentle breeze and watching the sunset over the trees… this house is the epitome of GREENWOOD. You’ll love loving here!
