About Mervyn Chen

Having previously worked in advertising for five years and with formal university qualifications in journalism and public relations from QUT, Mervyn Chen joined the property industry with enthusiasm. With the discipline of having worked in dynamic fast-paced environments, he has made the natural progression in his career. Besides being very down to earth and easy to talk to, Mervyn brings with him a different set of skills honed from having grown up in a multi-cultural country like Singapore. He can converse fluently in five different languages and this allows him to stand out in a very competitive market. To reward him with his meteoric rise in the industry, he was presented with the Ray White Rising Star award in 2012 - further cementing his commitment as an outstanding agent. Mervyn also spent time in the special forces in the army and this has instilled discipline in the way he goes about organising and managing his clients. He will go out of his way to assist clients in all aspects of their lives and many have commented positively on his style of doing things. His business acumen is also very astute due to also having spent time in media sales; and is very opportunistic when he senses there is a business deal to be made.
