Mark leads the highly experienced Harcourts South Coast team with the benefit of more than 25 years in South Australian real estate. Since 1985, Mark has worked across South Australia – successfully establishing and operating nine top-selling real estate offices spanning the Clare Valley, Riverland, Eyre Peninsula and Fleurieu Peninsula before heading a team of 50 real estate professionals as Sales Director of Brock Harcourts Adelaide, which under his leadership was named the most successful Australian office in the Harcourts chain – itself the fastest growing real estate network in the nation! In these roles, he has earned the respect of his peers across the industry, winning widespread recognition for excellence in real estate services and management and the title of Stock Journal Golden Gavel Country Auctioneer of the Year in 1996, 1997 and 1998. As Principal of Harcourts South Coast since 2010, Mark has been responsible for negotiating the sale of some of the region’s most significant prestige properties including the $10 million sale of Clarendon Vineyard and associated properties to overseas interests and the record-breaking sale of a Port Elliot beachfront home for approximately $3 million. He has particular expertise in marketing $1 million-plus properties through the Harcourts Luxury Property Selection global network and, with his long experience in rural property, has built a strong reputation for selling significant rural properties and vineyards. Mark is a longstanding member of the Real Estate Institute of South Australia Inc, is a Past President of the Society of Auctioneers and Appraisers and is a Fellow of the Society. He also is a former Deputy President of the South Australian Real Estate Employers Federation. A word from Mark ...“Victor Harbor and the Fleurieu Peninsula have been identified as being among Australia’s hottest real estate markets and strongest population growth centres between now and 2050 so it’s a very exciting time for the region. The National Sea Change Task Force suggests our local population will swell from 40,000 currently to about 150,000 by 2050 and projects worth more than half a billion dollars are currently proposed to support that growth. I am very excited by the potential of the region, the real estate market across the Fleurieu Peninsula and the team we have at Harcourts South Coast. Together, we look forward to sharing this exciting future with our clients and the wider community.”
