About Leanne Mitchell

I grew up on a sheep property in country Victoria and after leaving school, I completed a qualification as a chef. Following this, I was further trained in hospitality and tourism where I developed a love of communicating with people. Additionally, I studied a Diploma of Counselling and became particularly skilled at problem-solving and conflict resolution. I worked extensively throughout Australia and New Zealand, and have honed my people skills by working with clients from a diverse range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. After discovering the picturesque hills, valleys and the local 'paddock-to-plate' philosophy of the Gympie region, my family and I chose to settle locally where we continue to raise and nurture our children. I have volunteered in the local area for the Salvation Army Emergency Services and I continue to participate in local community initiatives, such as QUOTA Gympie; which is a non-profit organisation working to empower people from minority backgrounds. With the Children being able to look after themselves a little I had decided that it was time for me to go back to work or retrain, I wanted something I could get my teeth into... I looked at buying a business first, nothing really grabbed me, everything from dog grooming to Silversmith I have drive and ambition... I'm ok with trying different things, I like to be outdoors, I love the region, I love to assist people and I'm very good at negotiating and problem-solving. It's not just about selling your home, it's about your dreams, your family and where you want to go next. It's important to me that you are happy with your choices, and I want to be the one you choose to help you reach your dreams. I have been focusing on the real estate side of my career for the last 3 years, my Clients appreciate the low-pressure sales manner and the calming, soothing nature that I convey. I’m always honest and open as the best form of advertising I believe is word of mouth.
