“ Toolond Plantation is a 100-acre property, 20 minutes west of the little town of Mullumbimby. It is situated in Palmwoods, one of the few agriculture areas left in the Brunswick Valley. Operates as an Advanced Bangalow Palm, Treefern and Grasstree Production Nursery. Bananas and avocadoes are also grown on the property. Situated on the north east side of a mountain with stunning cliffs which host a magnificent 100m waterfall during summer rain and also a number of small creeks begin here and eventually run into the Main Arm Creek down in the valley.
Toolond Plantation is at an altitude of 300-500metres with views over rural valleys to the ocean. Some of the diverse rugged escarpments of Mount Jerusalem National Park are to the South and West of the plantation. To the North and East there are exceptional views across the mountains, down the Main Arm valley and to the ocean. We have established bushwalking tracks to various areas and points of interest on the property including creeks, waterfalls, rainforest areas and the escarpment. Some tracks are easy and others due to the terrain are challenging. Longer, more rugged walks are available into the adjoining National Park."
