Where are the cheapest suburbs in Sydney to buy a house?
Amongst the top five cheapest suburbs in Sydney are Bidwill, Carramar, Macquarie Fields, Emerton, Fairfield and Bankstown.
Largely spread out towards west Sydney, these neighbourhoods have a lower median price than the coveted eastern suburbs.
While not exactly central to Sydney’s CBD (Macquarie park is about a 30 minute drive away), the distance to these regions isn’t far considering how much lower the median house price is.

Marsden Park NSW

Marsden Park sits about 45 kilometres from Sydney’s CBD. To many of the Marsden Park dwellers, it’s a great combination of culture, comfort and affordability. It’s clearly seen growth over the years thanks to its cheap rent and easy access to public transport.
